Well, I'm here!

Finally! I am here in Wilmington! I've actually been here since Saturday evening, but I'm here none the less. It is beautiful here! I absolutely love it so far. I will admit that I did call home Sunday night crying because I felt so defeated, but I have since gained more confidence. I feel good.

So the job searching continues. I have applied to a TON of places. Well, not literally a ton, but you get what I mean. Yesterday I traveled around town and went to 4 vet offices. Only 3 were hiring. Of those 3 I filled out applications for 2 on the spot. The 3rd place - the hiring manager was out of town, so I just took an application with me and plan to turn it in Monday if I haven't heard from anywhere else. The 4th place gave me an application, but they're not hiring, so I just took an application and left. I also applied at PetCo online yesterday. Today, I applied to 3 jobs all at the aquarium. 2 were temporary positions doing educator stuff which would be totally cool and completely applies to the fact that I want to be a teacher. The third application was for the gift shop. I would at least get to be at the beach all the time with that job. I'm really praying hard to find a job... like really hard. The positive to the gift shop job is that they just started taking applications. That elevates my chances, right? I didn't get any calls back today, unfortunately. The week is still young, and I still have a lot more to do for job searching. I would appreciate, very greatly, continued prayer.

So, when in Rome do as the Romans do, correct? When at the aquarium dropping off job applications, go to the aquarium, right? Well, that's exactly what we did. Well, we came across a rather comical sign and decided to almost break the rules, haha.

We are such rule breakers haha!
